Thank you for your interest in participating in the Public House Pop-Up! Our juried, high-quality market for local businesses will kick off the holiday season at the beautiful Five Points Pub and Event Center located at 623 Columbia Street in Utica on Saturday, November 23 from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 24 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
About the show:
The Public House Pop-Up is a carefully curated makers market featuring approximately 25 vendors showcasing an eclectic mix of crafts, goods, and products as well as photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, face painting, and other festive surprises. The pub and restaurant will be open throughout the duration of the event so shoppers (and vendors!) can enjoy good food, spirits, and music.
Some comments from past vendors:
This was one of my favorite events I’ve done so far, the space was perfect and the organizing committee members were super helpful with everything throughout the entire event. It was a very welcoming environment for vendors!
Not only was it a great venue, but the steady amount of people that came through and the variety of vendors made this pop up market an amazing success! I can not wait till next year!!
I love this show, it’s just the right amount of vendors for shopping and a great variety of quality goods. Loading in and out is easy, and the coordinators are so helpful and organized. The staff at the venue is helpful, kind and accommodating (I love that I don’t have to leave my booth to wait in line for food, because I never remember to bring anything!). I have heard lots of positive things from customers and I see this show growing in the future!
The vendors are always unique as far as what they are selling. Everyone is always friendly and we all work together, and the organizers are so helpful!
Some comments from our guests:
The Public House Pop-Up is one of the best local events I’ve attended. My partner took our kids on the scavenger hunt and to see Santa and Mrs. Claus while I enjoyed a glass of wine and shopped. The vendors were fabulous! I found gifts for teachers, family members, and friends. It’s hard to believe this event was free! I encourage anyone who missed it to check out the next market. You don’t want to miss it! - Andrea L.
This event surpassed my expectations. Good vendors. Good Guinness pour. Well attended. Festive. - Bryan W.
Santa and Mrs. C were awesome – and very patient with our little one. My wife and I enjoyed all the details that made this event friendly to folks of all ages. We knocked off a few people on our holiday shopping list. And had a great meal to boot. Many thanks to all involved. - Dave M.
LOVED THIS EVENT! We went to a couple other shows but purposely ended our day at the Public House Pop-Up so we could have a drink and shop, then have dinner. Wonderful event space. Really enjoyed the selection of local businesses. You guys knocked it out of the park! See you next year! - Kellie T.
Information for potential vendors:
We are looking for local artists, craft-folks, or homegrown merchant vendors that make unique gifts, limited edition artworks, and/or art objects or local products. Vendors must sell items at the market that are original and handmade.
All vendors must remain on site for the duration of the show unless special arrangements have been made with the event committee.
Every vendor booth is marked and measures approximately 10’x6’. Two chairs, linens, and a 6’ banquet table are available for each vendor upon request in the application.
Vendors may set up on Friday, November 22 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Loading in/out should be fairly easy as there are double doors off the parking lot, loading carts, and an elevator. There will also be committee members to assist you as needed.
There is only one business allowed at each booth. If you allow another business to accompany you, you will both be asked to leave.
All vendors must have goods to sell on site.
We will not accept resellers/MLMs. No exceptions.
Vendor fee:
The non-refundable participation fee is $70 (no electric) or $80 (with electric - please note, we do not provide extension cords).
Our application process:
This is a juried show, and the committee is making a conscious effort to have vendors that do not sell duplicate goods. Past acceptance does not guarantee acceptance for this show.
Our application is simple and easy to fill out, and doubles as our contract with admitted vendors. To apply for consideration, please click the 'Vendor Application' link below:
